Our software is not a specific thing—it is a toolkit of building blocks configured to meet the needs of specific populations.

Single Agency

Our smallest customers do amazing work with only a few staff—and for them we take care of everything from system admin, to data backup, security and maintenance, upgrades and training.

We provide an Essentials Package that we manage for you—so all you need is a web browser and access to the Internet. Our tools work from anywhere on any device, with simple or complex tools. We see our job as making the technology recess into the background so you can focus on your clients. Intakes and assessments, services and referrals, goals and objectives, reports and analytics. Whether you provide one-time or support over time, individual or household services, in-person or virtual support, we would love to support your work.

Multi-Agency

Visionlink was one of the first to take multi-agency coordinated services to the web. We know a thing or two about leveraging shared data, and also—how to keep it private. We build from the ground up to support networks of agencies working together.

When we started, we proudly deployed a multi-agency shared client intake solution. It was revolutionary and our design partners were pleased—but something was wrong. We realized that partnerships don’t succeed when each partner does the same work in the same way. They succeed because each partner contributes differently to the whole. So we rebuilt everything—and now many different agencies can work together on the same platform, but in their own and different ways for each agency. Collaborative, but different.

Building Blocks

We begin with a set of core features—building blocks with powerful abilities. We then pre-configure these building blocks so you can launch immediately, take advantage of best practices, and leave reinventing the wheel to someone else.

It’s easier to show you, but as a list, the building blocks include client intakes and assessments; short and long-term case management; service directories, referrals and provided services; coordinated care and protected health records; goals, objectives, and timeline charts; shelter, volunteer, and goods and services donation management; client and community portals; multi-level reporting and analytics; import, export, and bulk data update tools; csv and API Builders for data exchange—and web sites and landing pages.

Configurable Solutions

We know that a solution designed for a specific population will not work for another. So we don’t force software designed for one thing, to do another thing. Instead, the building blocks can be changed.

We’ve learned that software for specific populations needs to work in certain ways that mirror the services and approach that works best for each group. So we offer an entire team of solution builders that can help you change pages and menus, fields and forms, searches and results, reports and analytics, and much more to meet your needs. Even better? We can show you how to do it yourself—no technical or programming skills required at all. Two benefits: work the way you want to now, and change and adapt to future needs and opportunities.

Reports & Analytics

We have diversified our offerings in this category because our customers are doing more with analytics in many different ways. Use your own solutions, or our dashboards, integrate with other data sources, and use maps for display as well.

First, every piece of data in every field—even the fields you create on the fly—can be exported or accessed with an API. Second, you can create menu-based reports for regular use and saved searches to call up frequently accessed information. Third, you can create specialized search forms to extract highly detailed sets of data. Fourth, you can use our new ResultsOS on-system reporting solution for amazing, realtime reporting dashboards. Fifth, you can use your own reporting platforms such as Microsoft BI, Tableau and Domo. We also work with data science partners, such as Talus Analytics for world class analysis and modeling. Let’s discuss how to meet your needs now, and over time.

Data Migration

Migrating data can be a hassle—so we made it easier. Use our Client and Resource Data Transfer Kits, and our bulk update tools to clean up messy data. Or let our data team do it for you.

Okay, let’s admit it, the hardest part of migrating between old and new systems is dealing with out-of-date and fractured data. In addition, modern data exchange expects certain structures and standards—so data has to be converted to match these modern systems. We work with client and community data all the time. We also work with banks, payment processors, government agencies, identity managers and others, so we have a tremendous amount of skill and experience with data. We can help you get it done.

Volunteers and Donations

Organize your volunteers and make it easy to ask for and receive donated goods and services for your organization and your clients.

Manage opportunities and skills, licenses, locations and availabilities of volunteers. Work with individuals and teams. Conduct background checks for your staff, or for volunteers through our partner Sterling Volunteers. Another module supports donated goods and services—from businesses or from the public. It works like a virtual marketplace of offers and requests, and it comes complete with a warehouse mode when the offers are more than can be used now. We also support donation portals for your organization.

Multi-Lingual and Localized

Language barriers are frustrating. So we support real-time, browser based translation services—and we go further: Virtually any tool across this entire suite can be deployed in one or many languages.

We support three kinds of language support. First, you can use browser based translation in more than 100 languages. Second, you can manage records and data entry in specific languages directly—and you can manage multiple languages on the same records. Third, you can localize the forms and fields to support different dialects as you need. The best part? The tools are simple, and the system builds the forms for you—including the success and error messages, the triggers and scripts, and other details in the correct language. Let’s remove language as a barrier.

Expertise

We believe in this work. Why? Because personally and professionally many of us at Visionlink have direct experience with specific population services including: adoption and foster care, at-risk, adjudicated and profoundly gifted youth, prison systems and re-entry, aging services, community service management, disaster relief, health systems, medical surplus…to name a few. We would love to support the difference you make every day. Learn more about our staff.
